Mr. International 2010

Well, these passed two days i've been wearing killer high heels. And believe me, it hurts my feet. Anyway, since Yani was the host for Mr. International and she dragged me and Nadine to Indochine (Oh plus Soraya), so we partied. Man it's been a while since i last partied...cant even remember when. Anyway, yeah, we partied with them cute boys... :) on the pic below are mr.Brazil, Spain, and Turkey.



and my personal favorite was ...France lol.

I dont know what to say

This is probably the first time in my life when i feel like writing but i dont really know what to write about. I wanna write something about love but it feels so overrated. I wanna comment on the Facebook movie i just watched but i dont really feel like it either. I might wanna tell you some stories about my friends but, drama is all there is. So... im not really gonna say anything. this is gonna be a boring entry.

Oh, maybe there is something. Next month, on TARA 4 Finale, Yani, Nadine, Soraya and I are going to Singapore. It's the finale and zook out. Funny eh, i dont really do zook out. But maybe this time i just need to go. Then next February we are going to go to Philippines. The ladies are hittin your country! watch out now!

My New Show Extreme Tuners !!!

For the passed six months i've been shooting for Discovery Turbo's new show. It was fun and a hard work at the same time. We finished the 13th episode last Friday and i am glad we've done it. The crew and the team has been really awesome on helping me out being their host.



Like seriously, i have to get my hands dirty every time. I'm pretty sure now i can have my own workshop! lol



And the last episode we were talking about roll cage. And by that, it means i have to test drive this buggie! on rocks!!!



It was pretty crazy!!! But it was fun at the same time. So now all you need to do is wait 'till its aired next month on Discovery Turbo. Yeyah!

I cant put this book down!
I gotta say Indra wrote it for you to be easy to read.
Inspired from this book i'm gonna start exploring Indonesian beaches,
and then envy him for having a very cool job.

Ada satu chapter, judulnya 'Jadi Laki-Laki harus kuat', it slapped me hard coz i
just wrote 'a strong woman' the day before i read it.
So i Ping-ed him...

Tanah tumpah darahku...

Dan sekali lagi, berduka cita sedalam-dalamnya untuk negara saya yang tercinta.
Disaat bersamaan hujan badai nggak berhenti di Jakarta, disusul banjir dan macet yang tidak berkesudahan, dimana banyak orang terperangkap dijalan raya kurang lebih selama separuh umur mereka masing-masing, dan pemerintah hanya bisa menyalahkan 'Curah hujan yang tinggi', bencana beruntun kian datang menimpa Indonesia yang adalah tanah air saya. Sebenarnya curah hujan setinggi apapun kalau tata kota kita nggak berantakan dan berisi beton disana-sini, saya rasa nggak akan bajir heboh seperti ini. Ini hampir sama dengan banjir 5 tahunan parahnya. Setelah menyalahkan curah hujan, katanya sekarang akan dibuat saluran air yang akan memakan biaya saya sampai nggak berani untuk mengingat berapa M biaya yang harus keluar lagi. Sementara semuanya harusnya lebih simple kalau orang-orang nggak serakah dengan membangun terlalu banyak mall dan memotong lahan hijau. Karena ternyata terbukti adanya BKB dan BKT (yang banyak sekali memakan jalur hijau disaat pembuatannya) sama sekali tidak membantu baik banjir maupun kemacetan di Ibu kota. Karena secara Ironis, kemacetan dua hari lalu ternyata memakan korban RI2 yang walaupun berusaha lewat dengan pengawal-pengawalnya ternyata tetap harus menanggung macet bersama berjam-jam lamanya.

Lalu disaat yang hampir bersamaan saat penduduk Jakarta sedang kalut ditengah banjir dan macet, gempa 7,2 SR mengguncang Mentawai.Selang beberapa jam tsunami setinggi 2 meterpun menjadi bencana susulan sesaat setelah gempa terjadi. Puluhan orang meninggal dunia dan ratusan orang hilang.

Dan hanya selang satu hari dari kejadian bencana mentawai, Gunung Merapi di Yogyakarta yang statusnya berubah menjadi 'awas' pun meletus. Mbah Marijan yang adalah juri kunci merapi ditemukan meninggal dunia dengan posisi sujud didapur rumahnya. Twitter rame, semua orang berduka dan ingin membantu. Mungkin dengan kejadian ini Indonesia bisa lebih 'unite' seperti yang selama ini digembar-gemborkan lewat dunia maya.

Eat Pray Love

after watching the movie, all i could think of right now is to travel again as soon as possible. Need to make a long journey to heal my soul. i've made some traveling this year and even that opened my eyes to some emotionally important things in my life. some of them was wrong, some was right, well..you wont know 'till you do it.

and this is my own 'eat-pray-love' concept that i'm gonna do.

yeah, what else do i enjoy beside music? food will be my second best. Doesnt mean that aint good. In every country i visited, i always tried to eat the local food, (well except for Burma, i kinda missed it for some reason hehe), or a funny thing happened in Bangkok, me and my friend actually found one of the best Mexican food! Hehe, point is, one of the way there is to live, is to eat. So i'm gonna embrace this thing more. My next destination for this would be, Mexico! i wanna get high eating their quesadillas, tortilla chips, nachos, chiles en nogada, and the original salsa while going to Puerto Vallarta, isla mujeres, oaxaca (the food city), Tulum and around.

Pray

I wanna go to Israel. It is my faith to my God that took me far in life. THis journey should be the first i'm gonna make. I would love to see the cities, from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Galilee, Capernaum all the way feeling the heat and the haze, in the place Jesus and His disciples had gone through.

Love

Greece. This is the place i wanna be. i don't fall in love too much in my life, but when i say i do, i mean it for real. And Greece is just so romantic in my head. That is the place of the love god Aphrodite. i am gonna go to every great beach there. from Myrtos beach to Super Paradise, and walk through the ancient history the country has. That would be just awesome.

And i might close the journey in my fave hiding place in my country. The beautiful Gili. Indonesia baby!!!
